Client Money Protection

Nest Associates is a member of a Client Money Protection scheme provided by Propertymark. This provides protection for landlords, tenants and other clients in the event that an agent misappropriates their rent, deposit or other client funds.

What Is Client Money Protection?

Client Money Protection (CMP) is a compensation scheme that reimburses landlords and tenants if an agent misuses their money. It is a legal requirement for all letting agents in England who hold client money to belong to an approved CMP scheme.

Our Membership

As members of the Propertymark CMP scheme, all client money held by Nest Associates is protected. This includes:

• Tenant deposits
• Rent payments
• Any other client funds held on behalf of landlords or tenants

How It Protects You

In the unlikely event of misappropriation of client funds, the CMP scheme provides compensation up to the scheme limits. This gives you peace of mind that your money is safe when entrusted to Nest Associates.
